What the site does

Local browser audio

Core signals are produced on your device with the Web Audio API. WAV files are encoded locally. These tools do not require recording, microphone permission, an audio upload, an account, or a server-side audio service. A settings link may place selected values in the page URL so another browser can restore them, but opening a link never starts sound.

Clear limits

A requested digital oscillator value is not the same as calibrated acoustic output. Browsers, operating systems, DACs, amplifiers, speakers, headphones, processing, rooms, and human hearing all affect the result. The tools are useful for demonstrations and preliminary checks; they cannot certify equipment specifications, measure dB SPL, or diagnose hearing.
